Welcome!

Welcome to the Mongrel FX web site. A current blog to document the progress of a CG Animated TV Pilot we are producing. Mongrel FX is primarily using an Open Source production pipeline centered around Blender to produce its debut intellectual property. Running concurrently with the animated film production, Mongrel FX will be holding small workshops ranging from one to three people that will be designed to foster local talent in the use of these Open Source applications coupled with previously inaccessible technologies such as Motion Capture and Render Farms.

Further developments regarding Mongrel FX can be found in “News Feeds” section. Still images of models being worked on can be seen in the “Works in Progress” section. Rotating 3D views of models can be seen in the “Video Feeds” section. The new “Tutorials” section contains quick tips and cheat sheets for Blender.
